Are you looking to take the GED® test? FSCJ helps prepare adults of any age to take the GED® test and obtain a high school equivalency diploma. Day, evening and weekend classes are held at several campus locations. We're here to help you succeed. Our advisors, instructors and staff will work with you, using the results of your pre-high school equivalency assessment test, to help identify the classes and topics where you need the most work. Classes are held at several campus locations and most are available during the day, at night and even on weekends. Help is always available.
Some subjects may be a challenge so we offer practice tests to help you prepare. Note: There is a $30 registration fee per term for Adult Education programs. One in every 30 college students entered college with a high school equivalency diploma. For the student who is withdrawing from Duval County Public Schools (DCPS), the student must go to the last school they were enrolled in and get the (1) proof of withdrawal document and (2) completed/certified. For the student who was not enrolled in DCPS and is coming from another school district, the student must contact their last school and get the (1) proof of withdrawal document and (2) completed/certified. For the student who is withdrawing from Home Education, the student must go to the DCPS Home Education office at 1701 Prudential Drive to get (1) proof of withdrawal document.

For the student that resides in Duval County, the student and parent/legal guardian must contact Woodley-Brown Glaze with DCPS at (904) 390-2537 to have the Florida GED® Testing Program Underage Waiver Form completed and processed. For the student who resides in another school district or county, the student must contact that school district in order to meet that school district’s requirements. IMPORTANT: As a reminder, ALL paperwork must be completed to set up an appointment with the adult education program advisor.
Students must meet with the program advisor before registering at the campus of their choice for the FSCJ Adult Education program. Applicant must have completed a high school equivalency review course and passed GED® test. Student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and complete the financial aid process.
